Ludlowe advances to first FCIAC boys soccer final

Mike McArdle, Mason Jennings and Niklas Stahle scored the goals and the Fairfield Ludlowe boys soccer team earned a 3-0 victory over Norwalk High to advance to the FCIAC championship match on Monday at Taft Field.
Top-seeded Ludlowe (15-0-3) will play third-seeded Greenwich (13-3-2) on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. for the title at Sam Testa Field at Norwalk High. It will be the Falcons first trip to the finals while Greenwich played in the title game a year ago.
Mickey Petrini made four saves to shut out the Bears (11-2-5). Greenwich defeated Staples from Westport, 3-2, in its semifinal.
Nick Demaso, McArdle and Rich Bellucci had the assists for Ludlowe.
