Balise buys Hyundai dealership

Balise Motor Sales purchased Fairfield Hyundai at 2269 Post Road in Fairfield.

The West Springfield, Mass.-based auto group owns and operates 21 auto dealerships in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and now in Connecticut. This purchase marks the third Hyundai dealership for the group.

The acquisition of Fairfield Hyundai is a part of Balise’s continued efforts to align with great franchises in growing markets. Hyundai is one of the fastest growing brands in the United States.

“Our singular mission at Balise is to exceed customer expectations in every facet of our business,” said Jeb Balise, chief executive officer of Balise Motor Sales. “In all of our stores in all the markets we serve, it’s all about the customer experience. At Balise, we want to offer the best selection at the best prices with total transparency. This is the quality of service our new customers in Fairfield can expect.”

For now, the dealership will continue to operate under its existing name as Fairfield Hyundai.
