McCarthy Vahey will advocate for Fairfield residents

To the Editor:

With Election Day soon approaching on Tuesday, Nov. 4, I strongly encourage all voting residents in the 133rd state Representative District to vote for Cristin McCarthy Vahey.

While Cristin McCarthy Vahey has proven herself as a hard-working selectman who always does her homework and asks the tough questions, Fairfield will be better served by having a strong and empathetic leader like Cristin McCarthy Vahey who can effectively represent our needs in Hartford — especially in this tough economy with various state issues affecting Fairfield residents.

As a mom of three attending Fairfield’s public schools, a proud daughter and wife of veterans, an active member of the Fairfield community and a well-respected town leader, Cristin McCarthy Vahey understands the needs of Fairfield residents — especially our fellow neighbors still struggling in this ailing economy.

As a supporter of our teachers and schools, our police and fire fighters, our youth, our Veterans and our older adults, Cristin McCarthy Vahey understands her constituents and will advocate for all of them while being cost conscious and fighting to get more grant funding and state aid to Fairfield.

So please take a few minutes on Tuesday, Nov. 4, between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., to cast your vote for Cristin McCarthy Vahey, someone I am fortunate to work with at the town level who is a good, honest and hands-on leader and has proven herself as the most qualified candidate to best serve this special town we live in.

For information on where to vote or rides to the polls, residents can may 203-858-7616.
