Exhibit features Native American books

Pequot Library’s rare book cases will showcase “Pages for Pequot: Native Americans” through Jan. 11.

The public is invited to experience Pequot up close and personal during the “page turnings” of the Indian Gallery books every Friday at 10:45 a.m. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Dr. Jason R. Mancini of the Mashantucket Pequot Museum & Research center will present “Preserver on the Mighty Waters: Exploring the Indian Mariners Project” on Sunday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m.

The exhibit and lecture are free and open to the public. For more information, call 203-259-0346, ext. 15.
