Vehicle flips on Old Stratfield Road

A vehicle struck two other vehicles on Old Stratfield Road late on Friday, Oct. 10, police said.

The driver, Ahmed Ebrahim, told police he had almost reached his Fairfield home after driving back from a family trip when he fell asleep behind the wheel on Old Stratfield Road late last Friday night.

Ebrahim struck one parked vehicle, which in turn hit another parked vehicle, both on Old Stratfield Road.

Ebrahim’s car flipped over on its roof, according to the report, but no one was injured.
