Hwang has earned residents’ support for state Senate

To the Editor:

As a senior citizen in this wonderful town, I am on the verge of being forced to leave because of our taxes. I won’t just be leaving my town. Fairfield and the great people who live here are more like my extended family.

For more than 40 years, I have had the honor to be involved with and devote time to this place I love so dearly. From PTA’s, church, Scouts, P.A.L., commissions, chamber art shows, preserving the Victorian cottage and barn, building floats for parades, painting fire hydrants… I have loved it all.

Fairfield is my family and I do love being a part of this wonderful family. I consider Tony Hwang to be part of that family, and I appreciate deeply his efforts to help keep Fairfield affordable. In Hartford, he has proven his dedication to ease our tax burden when making decisions to ensure accountability in government spending.

Tony Hwang has a genuine desire to do everything in his power to make Fairfield and Connecticut stronger, safer and better for all of us. He makes time to help individuals who have a problem and is so involved in the community, from veteran picnics to Fairfield’s 375th food drive, not to mention supporting organizations like the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club, Scouting, Operation Hope and The Kennedy Center.

He truly is a representative of and for the people. Tony listens and hears and acts. He really cares. Tony has earned our support and trust. Please vote for Tony for state Senate.
