Memorial Day Parade draws hundreds to Fairfield streets


Hundred of Fairfielders brought towels and beach chairs for the annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday.

The unusually hot day, which unofficially is considered the first day of summer, attracted many to Penfield Beach, where dozens of boats and waterskis were offshore and crowds of beachgoers tanned and played sports by the pavilions.
