Football game Saturday at Taft Field to benefit Pink Aid

The Southwestern Connecticut Grizzlies college football team will face the club team from the University of Hartford Saturday, Oct. 11, at Taft Field at Fairfield Ludlowe High School. Kickoff is set for 4:15 p.m.
The Grizz, Intercollegiate Club Football Federation National Champions in 2011 and 2012, are 2-0 for 2014, with a 46-6 victory over Eastern Connecticut State University and a 15-6 win over Onondaga Community College.
Admission Saturday is $10 for adults, $5 for high school students and college students with ID.
Saturday’s game is a benefit for Pink Aid, which funds breast cancer care and support services for women in need. Information on Pink Aid can be found at pinkaid.org.
