Girls Club for all ages on the autism spectrum

The Kennedy Center has launched the Girls Club for girls of all ages on the autism spectrum. It kicks off at the Children’s Services site, 4021 Main Street, Stratford, on Thursday, Sept. 18, and runs for six consecutive Thursdays from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Participants will join in activities aimed at developing self-esteem and assisting girls in understanding and embracing their individual qualities and personalities. Girl will work in teams to prepare a light snack and engage in “chick” chat.
