Listening tour: McKinney joins Debicella at Fairfield stop

State Sen. John McKinney and Congressional candidate Dan Debicella visit Firehouse Deli during a recent stop on Debicella’s listening tour.

During his latest stop on his district-wide listening tour, businessman and Congressional candidate Dan Debicella spent time in downtown Fairfield visiting with residents at Firehouse Deli with state Sen. John McKinney.

“I continue to hear over and over again from voters on my listening tour that they are tired of Washington and ready for a change,” Debicella said. “They are tired of the grasp special interest groups hold on our elected officials, they are tired of the gridlock and they are ready for solutions.”

“I am proud to campaign with Dan because I know he will bring real change in Washington to help Connecticut grow jobs and boost middle-class incomes,” said McKinney, who represents Fairfield, Easton, Weston and Westport.

“I am running a campaign of ideas — ideas on how to fix our transportation system, grow the middle-class and control healthcare costs for our families and seniors,” Debicella said. “It’s time we put political party aside and put Connecticut residents first.”

This is Debicella’s fourth stop in Fairfield on his district-wide listening tour.  He previously made stops at the Fairfield Senior Center, held a roundtable discussion with college students about education affordability and spoke with downtown business owners.
