Giants' take on Ice Bucket challenge

FS-SPTS-Ice-Bucket-9-11The Fairfield Giants Junior Midgets team is turning victories into support of curing Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain. This season with each victory, the Giants’ football and cheer coaches will be  taking the ALS icebucketchallenge to help raise awareness and money for ALS. Now  2-0, the team has currently pledged $1,294 and receiving pledges of more than $600 for each win this season.
