New swim center for all ages and abilities

Swim Seventy, Fairfield County’s newest aquatic center with a 50-meter pool begins swim team practices this week.
Ongoing swimmer evaluations began in August and continue weekly throughout the year.  More than 100 swimmers have joined.
Swim Seventy’s coaches, Stu Wilson, Mark Sedlak and Betsy Matheney, have experience working with new swimmers up through Olympic qualifiers.
Programs are suitable for all ages and abilities, with competitive programs for ages 6-18 plus and recreational programs for ages 6-17.
Open houses will be held Tuesday, Sept 2. at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 6, at 9 a.m. at the Fairfield County Antique and Design Center, 19 Willard Rd., Norwalk.
Staff will discuss all programming, including Swim Teams, Masters Swimming, Swim Lessons, Triathlon Training, Fitness, Nutrition and Aquatic Rehabilitation.
There will be a Swim Team Parent Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
