Nicholas Fingelly agent goes house hunting

HGTV’s House Hunters Renovations will feature Nicholas H. Fingelly real estate agent James Millington as he shows homes in Fairfield and Norwalk on Saturday, Aug. 23.

The nationwide cable show, entitled First Time Homebuyers Take On An Over the Top Renovation will air at 10 p.m. The episode features a young couple seeking to find their first home. The couple was shown multiple homes and narrowed their search to three.

The viewers will see all three homes and watch as the couple decides between two homes in Fairfield and one in Norwalk. After closing on their new home, the couple worked with HGTV designers to renovate the house and turn it into their dream home.

Millington is a life-long Fairfield resident with more than 15 years experience as a Realtor. He services a wide array of clients ranging from first-time home buyers and investors to large estate sales in all price ranges.

Millington was sought out by HGTV producers who were casting for the show and looking for agents with strong reputations in the community and a diversified pipeline of clients.

Working with his list of clients, Millington was able to find a client who fit the show’s criteria and was a good fit for television.

“I was thrilled to have the opportunity to not only find my clients the perfect home but to have it renovated for them by HGTV,” Millington said. “We had a great time working together and had many laughs during our filming.”

The show features Millington’s clients, Eric and Erin Harkrader. Millington and his clients will be viewing the episode for the first time at his Fairfield home on Saturday.
