Supreme Court lost its way

To the Editor:

The decision by the Supreme Court was very disturbing by the minority group who cites the wisdom of the majority.

Justice Ginsburg has a serious problem, along with her other supporters. If Justice Ginsburg‘s ruling were to be adopted, we would no longer have a country of laws. Ginsburg wants to interpret the constitution to suit her own ideology and not follow the letter of the law.

She looks at the Constitution as a living document. I see no sign of this document breathing or a beating heart. If the constitution were to be adopted as a living document, then all other laws would have to follow the same ruling. We now would have a nation with no law and anarchy.

Laws are the will of the populous, not the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has lost its importance as it became politicized and no longer has the interest of the American values established by our founding fathers and the wishes of the people.
