A winning book chat

Fairfield-tarttchat

The Pulitzer Prize-winning book, ‘The Goldfinch’ by Donna Tartt, ended the season of Pequot Library’s book chats. More than 20 people attended the chat, led by Martha Gates Lord and held in the Reading Room. The library has planned a follow-up series called, ‘Book Chats: Hot off the Press,’ which starts on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 11:30 a.m. The fall series features newly-published popular books that have been vetted by nationally-ranked librarians. Pequot’s season kicks off with Lobster Kings by Alexi Zentner, led by Marianne Pysarchuyk.
