School announces new summer program

Fairfield Country Day School will launch a new program of summer enrichment courses. The program, “Curiosity in Action!” begins June 16 and will continue until July 25. Classes are open to boys and girls entering fourth through ninth grades. The program will provide students with innovative experiences in technology, arts and science designed to enhance their creativity and engage their curiosity.

The five-week program is organized into one- or two-week half-day courses, each focused on a specific topic. Subjects include arts, drama, gaming, languages, technology, computer programming, baseball camp and cooking. Classes will be taught by experienced faculty members in state-of-the-art facilities, including the new Learning Commons of Fairfield Country Day School, located at 2970 Bronson Road.

Most courses last for one week and cost $250 per student. The sole exception is the Summer Theatre program, which lasts for two weeks and costs $500.

Students may choose to participate for only half days or register for two sessions in the same day. Students who attend full days may bring a packed lunch, which will be kept under refrigeration. Snacks are included in both sessions.
