Prep foursome earns All American honors

TT-SPTS-Prep-Cole-Swim-4-10The Fairfield Prep 200 yard freestyle relay team set a state record in the State Open held at Yale University to garner All American status on March 22, by winning the 200-yard freestyle relay with a recorded time of 1:23.18, beating the previous state mark of 1:24.19. The quartet (pictured l-r) of Nick Wargo, Cole Brice Keblish and Connor Davis beat the All-American qualifying standard of 1:25.26 by more than two seconds. According to the National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association website, it was the second-fastest time in the United  States this season. The foursome also finished second at the Open in the 400-yard freestyle in 3:01.08, to eclipse the All-American standard of 3:07.43 by a whopping six seconds.
