she3 Well-Fitness Boutique opens in Fairfield

The flagship location of she3 Well-Fitness Boutique opened Saturday, Sept. 8, at 63 Unquowa Road, on Donnelley Walk between Archie Moores and Cafe Lola.

In addition to a ceremonial ribbon cutting with First Selectman Mike Tetreau, the opening included samplings of complimentary fitness classes, clean-eating seminars and specially designed programming for teens and college students.

Owner, creator and chief health officer Benay Rubin said she3 (which stands for strength, health and empowerment) will bring to Fairfield “the area’s first integrated fitness/wellness destination focused on maximizing the strength, health and empowerment of clients through high-energy, cross-disciplinary group fitness classes, individualized training sessions, health coaching and detox and cleanse programs and workshops.”

Rubin showed Tetreau the studio and introduced the first selectman to a heavy rope workout.

Rubin has more than 18 years of experience in the integrative fitness industry as both a fitness teacher and health educator for adults, teens and children in the tri-state area. She is certified as a personal trainer and as a yoga, pilates, lotte burke, meditation and eidetic imagery instructor.

She is a trained and certified holistic health coach from the Institute of Integrated Nutrition. She is recognized as an expert in the health field as a Holistic Health Practitioner from the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
