How can Murphy fix the economy when he can’t run his finances?

To the Editor:

Recently an article was published about Chris Murphy and his failure to pay his mortgage not once, but twice. How can we elect a U.S. Senator to try and fix this economic crisis when he cannot even fix his own economic downfalls?

It’s easy. Vote Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate on Nov. 6 to ensure we have someone who knows what they are doing in Washington.

It has come to my attention that Chris Murphy worked for Webster Bank, the same bank that offered him a possible sweetheart deal to get out of his mortgage crisis and gave Murphy campaign contributions. Does it seem fair that Chris Murphy is getting special treatment and money from the bank that he is supposedly regulating? I didn’t think so. Vote Linda McMahon for U.S. Senate Nov. 6.

In 2003 Chris Murphy was first sued for alleged nonpayment of rent when he was a member of the Connecticut legislature. In 2007 Chris Murphy was sued again for foreclosure after he had become Connecticut’s congressman. In 2012 what will it be, another lawsuit? You can prevent it, vote for Linda McMahon.

Chris Murphy says that he’s made mistakes but immediately corrected them. Well my question is how does one get sued in 2003 and then four years later repeat the same mistake. That doesn’t seem like Murphy is fixing his mistakes to me, but you decide. Vote Linda McMahon Nov. 6.

After being sued twice in a four-year period it is a mystery how Chris Murphy could obtain a new mortgage in 2008 after missing payments on his previous mortgage. If we had been sued twice there is no way that our credit would be approved that quickly and quietly. But when you work for the bank that provides the loans I suppose it’s all in a day’s work. Because of this preferential treatment, Chris Murphy will not have my vote come Nov. 6.
