Prep swims past Sheehan

The Fairfield Prep swimming and diving team defeated Sheehan of Wallingford, 95-70, at the Fairfield University RecPlex on Jan. 7.
Coach Rich Hutchinson’s Jesuits improved to 3-0 with the win over the Titans (1-2).
The 200 medley relay team of Bjorn Davis, Brandon Cole, Jake Hoin and Nick Wargo won with a time of 1:52.59.
Bryce Keblish followed with a victory in 2:03.14 in the 200 freestyle, and Wargo was first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:16.04.
Cole was best in the 50 freestyle (25.28) before Robert McCrory took first in the diving competition.
Hoin was first in the 100 butterfly (1:00.55) and Keblish took the 100 freestyle (55.51).
Behind Wargo, Cole, Keblish and Hoin, Prep was first in the 200 freestyle relay (1:41.06).
Davis added an individual first with a win in the 100 backstroke (1:04.88).
Stuart Stritzel touched the wall first in the 100 breaststroke (1:12.04).
The 400 freestyle relay squad of Wargo, Keblish, Cole and Davis won in 3:45.94.
