The flagship location of she3 Well-Fitness Boutique opened Saturday, Sept. 8, at 63 Unquowa Road, on Donnelley Walk between Archie Moores and Cafe Lola.

In addition to a ceremonial ribbon cutting with First Selectman Mike Tetreau, the opening included samplings of complimentary fitness classes, clean-eating seminars and specially designed programming for teens and college students.

Owner, creator and Chief Health Officer Benay Rubin said she3 (which stands for strength, health and empowerment) will bring to Fairfield “the area’s first integrated fitness/wellness destination focused on maximizing the strength, health and empowerment of clients through high-energy, cross-disciplinary group fitness classes, individualized training sessions, health coaching and detox and cleanse programs and workshops.”

“The energy in Fairfield is so alive and progressive that it was the natural choice for the she3 concept,” Rubin said in a press release. “Fairfield is filled with young, creative professionals, busy, multi-tasking parents and onthe-go teens and college students. My goal is to bring them an intimate, personalized and welcoming health/fitness experience that develops not only sculpted physiques but healthy bodies and strong minds.”

Rubin showed Tetreau the studio and introduced the first selectman to a heavy rope workout.
