Video shows gunpoint holdup of Southport 7-Eleven

Fairfield police have released video that shows the gunpoint robbery of 7-Eleven, 3232 Post Road in Southport.

The suspects were two black males, police said, who entered the store around 9:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, dressed all in black: Black hooded sweatshirts, jeans, baseball caps, masks, sunglasses, gloves and black sneakers with a white logo. One of the subjects had a sticker on the brim of his cap.

The other was brandishing a small black handgun, police said in a post on their Facebook page.

The two suspects made off with cash, and fled on foot to the rear of the building which leads via a footpath, to the road (Kings Hwy West) directly behind the 7-Eleven. This location affords easy access to I-95 north and south.
