New year performance


Connecticut Chamber Choir announces the opening concert of its 36th season with ‘Sublime: Classic Works for Chorus, Organ and Strings’ at St. Theresa’s Church, Main Street, Trumbull, on Jan. 12, at 4 p.m. The concert will feature the choral works of Schubert, Beethoven, Brahms, Fauré and two works by Mozart. The choir will also introduce its new accompanist, organist Frank Zilinyi, as a featured soloist performing Bach’s Sonata in A major.
