T.J. Gallagher makes Thanksgiving Day his own

T.J. Gallagher ran for five touchdowns and his Fairfield Warde football team defeated Fairfield Ludlowe, 44-21, at Taft Field on Thanksgiving Day.
Coach Duncan DellaVolpe’s Mustangs (4-7) took a 22-12 halftime lead on coach Vin Camera’s Falcons (6-5).
Warren Davis and Matt White had scoring runs for Ludlowe in the second quarter, but Gallagher had three touchdowns and he and Andrew Girard had two-point conversion runs.
Warde’s Brandon Bisack threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Ryan Brown, and Gallagher scored from 75 yards out to up the tally to 38-12 after three periods.
After Gallagher’s fifth score, Ludlowe had a two-point safety and Nick Inniamo scored on a one-yard run.
