Fairfield attorney among top in her field


Linda Eliovson

Attorney Linda Eliovson has been named as one of the top lawyers for 2013 for the third year in a row by Fairfield and Westport/Weston/Wilton magazines.

Eliovson is one of a list of 549 lawyers in more than 87 areas of practice in Fairfield County. The list is based on confidential surveys conducted by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell asking local attorneys and members of the judiciary to rate the work of their peers using knowledge of the law and experience as criteria. The listed lawyers have been rated “AV Preeminent,” which is the highest peer review available.

Eliovson is the founder and principal of The Law Offices of Eliovson & Tenore, located on Tunxis Hill Road. She has more than 20 years of experience as a probate and elder law attorney.

The firm specializes in estate planning, estate settlement and administration, trusts and trust administration, Medicaid/Title XIX asset protection planning and  applications, wills, conservatorships and special needs planning for protection of public benefits for disabled individuals, including special needs trusts.

Eliovson is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, Connecticut Bar Association’s Elder Law and Estate and Probate Sections, Connecticut NAELA, Greater Bridgeport Elderly Services Council, Connecticut Geriatric Society, Fairfield/Bridgeport Regional Bars’ Elder Law and Estate/Trust Sections and Connecticut Coalition for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (CAPE).
