Announces support for Cindy Waldron

To the Editor:

If you live in District 4, please go to the polls Nov. 5 at Osborn Hill School and vote for Cindy Waldron for RTM (Representative Town Meeting).

Our RTM has become increasingly polarized over the last few terms and I believe we need more representatives that are willing and able to discuss our town’s issues openly and earnestly, and with a view towards fairness to all.  Cindy is the right type of person for this job.

She is kind, patient, open minded and analytical, yet resolute when required. She is fiscally conservative but, with three school-aged children, has a keen sense of the importance of a first rate public school system, as well as other services, to Fairfield. She is extremely concerned about the ability of retirees to stay in Fairfield and not be forced out due to an increased tax burden.

Cindy is very busy raising her children, but allocates a significant amount of time to volunteer work at her church and her children’s schools.

I believe that Cindy will be very effective in representing all residents of District 4 fairly and with enthusiasm. I urge you to vote for Cindy Waldron on Nov. 5.
