Two masked men brandishing a weapon robbed a Fairfield bank Friday, Oct. 25.

No one was injured, police said.

Police were called to TD Bank, 1643 Post Road, at 8:43 a.m.

An employee reportedly told police that shortly after the bank opened at 8 a.m., two men entered through the rear doors and approached her. One suspect jumped over the counter while the second remained in the customer area.

One suspect displayed a silver hand gun and demanded money, according to police.

An undetermined amount of cash was taken

The suspects fled the bank through the rear door on foot. It is unknown if a vehicle was used and there is no description of a vehicle.

The bank is not far from Exit 21.

Fairfield Police are asking anyone with information or surveillance footage that might show the suspects to contact the Detective Bureau at 203-254-4808.
