Consider Fairfield’s future when voting on Nov. 5

To the Editor:

You have an opportunity this Election Day to fight for Fairfield’s future. The town officials you elect will be charged with making decisions on the issues that matter most to you and your family, including maintaining and strengthening our public schools, ensuring our public safety, investing in the maintenance of our roads, bridges and buildings and responsibly weighing the pros and cons of property development.

As both incumbent and new Democratic Representative Town Meeting (RTM) candidates from District 6, we are committed to fighting for Fairfield’s future in the form of sound decisions, supporting schools and seniors and safe and strong neighborhoods.

Most important, we stand for responsible, balanced leadership that encourages and invites an informed and lively dialogue. As such, over the next several weeks, we will be reaching out to our neighbors via phone and mail, and by knocking on doors to introduce ourselves and to answer questions. We’ve also established a Facebook page,, where you can learn more about us while keeping abreast of the issues in our District 6-specific neighborhoods and the town overall.

Electing town officials to represent the issues that matter to you and your family is a hard-won freedom that we hope you will exercise. We encourage you to make your voice heard by voting Democrat, Row B, on Nov. 5.

Please visit the Fairfield town website at or call the town clerk’s office at 203-256-3090 to learn about registering to vote, securing an absentee ballot or if you have questions about your specific polling location and hours.
