Sticks for Soldiers car wash

A free car wash, to benefit Fairfield Ludlowe athletics and Sticks for Soldiers, will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, at Fred’s Car Wash, 3400 Post Road in Southport. A rain date has been scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 16.
All of the proceeds will benefit Fairfield Ludlowe High School athletics and Sticks for Soldiers.
Members of the Ludlowe lacrosse team will be on hand to assist Fred’s staff the night of the car wash.
Sticks For Soldiers is a non-profit charity lacrosse tournament held in Fairfield on the Friday after Thanksgiving to raise money for wounded troops.
The primary mission of this tournament is to provide support and give thanks to the service men and women who put their lives on the line and sacrificed for our country.
Suggested cost of the car wash is $10.
