Ludlowe holds off Harding to win, 35-31

The Fairfield Ludlowe football team defeated Harding of Bridgeport, 35-31, on Saturday.
Coach Vin Camera’s Falcons improved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in FCIAC action. Harding is 2-2.
Matt White connected with Stephen Zadravec for a 30-yard score and Charles Kottler’s PAT made it 7-0.
Jimmy Gasper broke off a 71-yard run to take the score to 14-0.
Harding put the next two scores on the board to close within 14-13, before Gasper tacked on a 1-yard run and White passed to Patrick O’Leary for the two-point conversion and a 22-13 halftime lead.
Warren Davis’ 3-yard run, and Kottler’s PAT made it 29-13 after three periods.
Harding rallied here with three touchdowns to go on top 31-29, but Mike Arman brought in White’s pass and went 66 yards for the winning touchdown.
