Police report: Domestic dispute leads to arrest

A Fairfield man was arrested for allegedly pushing a family member hard enough to make her spill a glass of water, according to Fairfield police. The fight took place on June 13.

Mackin Eder, 18, of Mill Hill Terrace reportedly returned home late and became argumentative when questioned about where he had been. He was described as possibly intoxicated and aggressive.

At some point in the verbal altercation with the family member, Eder allegedly shoved the female.

Eder was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to appear in court on June 14.


Injured deer rescued

An injured fawn was taken, with the assistance of Fairfield police, to a rehabilitation facility in Weston on June 13. The young deer was spotted near the beach on South Pine Creek Road.
