Vote for Romney would restore Bush administration

To the Editor:

I second the well-made case outlined by letter writer Ken Camarro (The Republican Menace, Fairfield Sun, Aug. 30) that “The Republican Party is a menace to women.”

I would add another reason why it would be dangerous and frightening to elect Mitt (Etch-A-Sketch) Romney: Most of Romney’s foreign policy advisors are the same militant, war hawk, neoconservative, unilateral interventionists from the Bush administration who never met a war they didn’t like, regardless of the sensibility, regardless of the cost to the U.S. Treasury, and regardless of the cost of lives lost and lives ruined.

The idea of restoring power and influence to these twisted ideologues, who like to shoot first and ask questions later, is alarming. Especially now that we’ve already rejected trigger happy John (Bomb Bomb Iran) McCain, and are about to finally get Sen. Joseph Lieberman out of our hair.
