Warde talent show benefits Hurricane Sandy relief


“Harmony for Hurricane Sandy Relief,” the seventh annual “Harmony” benefit talent show hosted by the Interact Club at Fairfield Warde, will be held Friday, May 3.

Doors to the auditorium at Warde open at 6:30 p.m. The curtain rises at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10. There will be a raffle at the show.

Money raised this year will go to the United Way Hurricane Sandy Recovery Fund to aid in their efforts in rebuilding the communities most affected by the Super Storm last October. In the past, “Harmony” has raised thousands of dollars benefiting causes such as cancer research, tsunami relief, and the World Food Programme.

This student-run show attracts local talent from the high school. This year’s lineup includes:

• Far From in Between, a Fairfield rock band with Isaish Mansour, Evan Lauterborn, Nick Anagnost and Ben Rudolph;

• Will Morton;

• Bailey Kenny;

• Jack Ullman;

• Sara Rubin’

• A capella groups: Muse and Overtones;

• Jeff Zhang and Niles Luther in cello duet;

• Girls on Bikes, a Fairfield rock band with Connor Frawley, Connor Levinson, Dylan Levinson and Joe Sugrue;

• Ankit Anil and Hanhee Song;

• Cara Brundage and Kim Canzoneri;

• Bryan Fichera;

• Emily Wood;

• Zach Roberge

• The Fairfield Warde Dance Team.
