Salveson shuts out Stamford

Andrew Salveson pitched a four-hitter and the Fairfield Ludlowe baseball team defeated Stamford High, 5-0, on April 29.
Salveson struck out seven and walked one, as the Falcons improved to 5-7 overall and moved to 5-5 in the FCIAC.
Stamford is 4-8, 3-7.
Mike Poudrier had two hits and drove in two runs.
Vic D’Ascenzio scored two runs and stole two bases.
Chris Medor knocked in two runs and Pat Gutierrez struck out seven and won his third decision when Ludlowe defeated Norwalk High, 7-4, on April 23.
