Missing Fairfield man found

A Fairfield man, last heard from on April 7, has been located by his parents in New York City as of April 15 at 3:37 p.m., according to police.

Brian Comforti, 20, of Fairfield was last seen on April 5 and had a conversation with his parents on the phone on April 7. He had not been seen or heard from until today. His parents did not believe their son to be endangered or taken against his will. His friends and parents just wanted to know where he was and that he was OK.

He is believed to have purchased a train ticket at the Metro North station in Fairfield on April 10. His car was located in the parking lot with his keys and cell phone inside.

His parents told police it was not uncommon for him to make trips into the city, but he usually remained in contact.
