Tom Nagy tearing it up at Bentley

Bentley University junior right fielder Tom Nagy out of Fairfield Ludlowe has been named the Northeast-10 Baseball Player of the Week for the second time this season, and has also been cited as the Division II East Region Hitter of the Week by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association.
During a 3-2 week, Nagy hit .500 (11-22) with three homers, 12 RBIs, three doubles, seven runs scored, a 1.045 slugging percentage and a 1.769 OPS.
His week included 4-for-6 with two homers, six RBIs and four runs scored in a 17-1 win over Bridgeport, 4-for-4 with three RBIs in a 9-1 win over Bridgeport and 2-for-5 with two RBIs in an 8-4 win over Pace that snapped the Setters’ seven-game winning streak.
During the week, he was 8-of-11 (.727) with runners on base and a perfect 6-for-6 with runners in scoring position.
Nagy leads the NE-10 in home runs (6) and total bases (44), and is second in RBIs (22) and fourth in slugging (.698). His batting average is a team-best .302, and he’s a .533 hitter with runners in scoring position.
