IMAGES fifth annual juried exhibition
IMAGES 2013, fifth annual juried exhibition, featuring the work of photographer Philip Trager, runs May 3-July 21, at Fairfield Museum and History Center, 370 Beach Road. Hours: Monday-Friday, 10-4; Saturday and Sunday, noon-4.
Professional, serious amateur and student photographers invited to participate. Selected photographs will be exhibited at the museum.

Fallen Heroes golf tournament
The third annual Fallen Heroes Golf Tournament will be held Monday, May 20 at noon with a BBQ lunch and registration; shot gun start at 1 p.m., and dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at The Grassy Hill Country Club, 441 Clark Lane, Orange.
Cost is $250 per golfer and $125 for dinner guest. Each golfer will receive lunch, dinner, 18 holes of scramble tournament play and a third annual Tournament Fallen Heroes polo shirt. Sit down dinner includes prime rib or stuffed chicken breast, two-hour open bar at awards banquet and more.

Author to discuss book
Khaled Hosseini, author of The Kite Runner and A Thousand Splendid Suns, will discuss his new novel, And the Mountains Echoed, for WSHU Public Radio’s Join the Conversation.
The event will be held at Sacred Heart University’s Edgerton Center for the Performing Arts, where he will be interviewed by Roxanne Coady, owner of R.J. Julia Booksellers in Madison, Wednesday, May 22, at 7 p.m.
