Park for Food event

The annual Pequot Library book sale is held the last weekend in July every year, and Trinity Episcopal Church, 651 Pequot Avenue, Southport will host its “Park for Food” drive in their spacious parking lot on the corner of Pequot Avenue and Center Street. During Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27, 8:30 a.m.-5:15 p.m., volunteers will direct patrons to available parking in exchange for canned food or donations. Hike to focus on shore birds
