Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza

Connecticut Audubon Society, Center at Fairfield, 2325 Burr Street, hosts an Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza Saturday, April 4, from 10–11:30 a.m. and 1–2:30 p.m. “Eggs-plore” what’s hatching at the Center at Fairfield’s 19th annual “eggs-stravaganza!”  Fun-filled family activities include an egg hunt (ideal for children 8 and under), spring-themed craft making, and a visit from a very special rabbit. Audubon hosts spring bird seed sale

Spring is a stressful time in the lives of birds. Many have migrated a long distance. Upon arrival, they have to compete for territory and find a mate. Then they begin the process of building a nest, incubating eggs and raising young. All this occurs in just a few months as they prepare for their migration back to southern regions in the fall. Badge Bonanza for Boy and Girl Scouts

Connecticut Audubon Society’s Center at Fairfield hosts a Badge Bonanza for Boy and Girl Scouts Saturday, March 21 or Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to noon, 2325 Burr Street, Fairfield.
