Black Nonbelievers founder to speak on atheist diversity

The founder of Black Nonbelievers, Inc. will lead a discussion on creating more diversity in the secular community at the July 30 meeting in Norwalk of the Humanists and Freethinkers of Fairfield County. Mandisa Thomas started the Atlanta, Ga., based nonprofit and currently serves as president. The group has since grown to include affiliates in major cities in seven states. Extra Innings Softball Marathon at Harbor Yard

The Extra Innings Softball Marathon presented by Treasured Time, Inc., which was scheduled for Saturday, June 27 and Sunday, June 28 at The Ballpark at Harbor Yard in Bridgeport, has been postponed due to mandatory field maintenance. The Softball Marathon has been rescheduled to Saturday, Aug. 1 and Sunday, Aug. 2.
