Kupchick hails state grant for Sherman Green drainage project

State Rep. Brenda Kupchick (R-132) applauded the award to the Town of Fairfield of a $300,000 grant from the state’s Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) to fund the Sherman Green Drainage project.

Fairfield receives $300,000 state grant

Fairfield is one of 16 communities in Connecticut to receive a Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP) grant in the amount of $300,000 for drainage and pedestrian improvements in and around Sherman Green.


Boating safety course

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is conducting a one day boating course to qualify for the Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate Saturday, Oct. 15, from 8-5, at the Flotilla 77 Base located on 595 Turney Road in Fairfield.
