Members of the public can still comment on Exide’s proposal for cleaning contamination from the Mill River near the former battery factory.
The Conservation Commission is scheduled to discuss the company’s plan for cleanup. Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Sullivan Independence Hall. The location inside will be posted on the downstairs bulletin board.
The deadline for public comment on both the Sediment Remedial Action Plan and OLISP General Permit Application has been extended to Feb. 28.
