Sexual assault
A female student at Fairfield University reported to police that a college-aged man exposed himself to her on Feb. 19 after asking for directions. Police do not yet have a suspect.
The student said she was walking by the north entrance to the alumni field when a light-colored, possibly gray, hatchback slowly rolled toward her. Inside was a white male with long brown hair. He asked her how to get to one of the campus halls.
She turned to point out the building. When she looked back, she saw the suspect was not wearing pants and pleasuring himself.
Police are investigating.
Physical assault
Alicia Buechner, 47, of Churchill Street was arrested for third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after attempting to kick out the man she was living with. Police said the victim had bleeding scratches on his arms and a cut on his lips.
Police responded to the call on Feb. 19. According to reports, the victim attempted to restrain Buechner while receiving his injuries and then called 911.
Buechner was released on a $500 for a Feb. 20 court date.
