The Shack, the restaurant at the intersection of Post and North Pine Creek roads, has closed its doors.
The closing was announced on the Shack Fairfield Facebook page Tuesday night, Feb. 19.
The site was previously home to Sidetracks.
“We did our best to offer more than just a meal and truly wish we could have made it work,” the posting read.
Customers have posted their feelings on the Facebook page.
“We really did have the best customers ever,” the post continued. “You were all like family.”
