Fairfield Warde’s Stuart Peters, Aiden Fiol, Nick Gans and Connor O’Day won the 4×800 relay title and the Mustangs tied Bunnell of Stratford for the eighth spot in the team competition at the Class L indoor track and field championships in New Haven on Friday.
Fiol placed third in the 3,200-meter run in a time of 9:56.62
Rob Ficara from Fairfield Ludlowe took fifth in the shot put with a throw of 46-6.5.
