The Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County (CAFC) has been awarded a $25,000 grant by the Fairfield County Community Foundation (FCCF).
The FCCF grant will provide operational support to sustain the current service programs and initiatives of the organization and manage and grow FCBuzz.org., a regional collaborative marketing website, consisting of an arts and cultural calendar, searchable membership directories, artist profiles, as well as job and networking opportunities and more.
The grant will also support strengthening constituent relationships and membership among more than two hundred nonprofit arts organizations, and managing capacity building services, including the Executive Directors Network and the Marketing Roundtable.
“CAFC had a great year of growth in 2012 in all areas including marketing, capacity building and advocacy,” said Ryan Odinak. CAFC executive director. “More listings were posted on FCBuzz.org than ever before and more people visited the website when looking for something to do.
“We were able to provide educational and networking opportunities for over 185 organizations and launch three significant initiatives,” he said. “CAFC is well positioned to continue growing in 2013 and thanks to the Fairfield County Community Foundation, we have the valuable resources we need to do just that. FCCF’s funding is also an important endorsement for the Cultural Alliance’s work and provides significant leverage for additional support. We are extremely grateful for their partnership.”
