Cate Allen from Fairfield Warde and Christian Alvarado from Fairfield Prep bested the field in their respective mile runs at the Yale Developmental indoor track meet in New Haven on Saturday.
Allen ran a 5:03.98 mile, while Alvarado posted a time of 4:18.79 in the boys race.
Fairfield Ludlowe’s Emily O’Keefe won the high jump (5-0) at the FCIAC qualifying meet at Staples High in Westport on Saturday.
Warde’s Lia Joham captured first in the 300 (44.02), Paige Hanley won the 600 (1:48.67) and Marcelo Galvez was first in the 50 hurdles (8.52).
