The Fairfield Warde boys basketball team was awarded a forfeit victory over Harding of Bridgeport, after the CIAC Board of Control penalized the Presidents for using an academically ineligible player in five games, two that they won.
Warde is now 3-7 overall and 3-5 in the FCIAC.
Harding, which was also fined $500, self-reported the violation.
