The Fairfield Warde boys basketball team answered Norwalk High’s 18-7 first-quarter outburst with some explosive point scoring of its own before the host Bears prevailed, 73-59, on Friday night.
Warde is 1-6, while Norwalk improved to 6-1.
Mark Byrne and Max Garrett scored 16 points each.
