The Fairfield Ludlowe boys basketball team lost a 55-49 nailbiter to visiting Norwalk High on Friday.
The Falcons (3-4) and Hilltoppers (4-1) went at it for four full quarters, with Ludlowe leading 13-6 after one period and 26-24 at the half.
Central closed within 39-38 after three quarters.
Mark Malone and Patrick Gutierrez scored 14 points each for Ludlowe.
