Stolen pallets

Someone has been making off with the goods at Creative Wholesale Meats, 71 Timko, St. However, the perpetrator or perpetrators are not stealing any of the food.

An estimated $4,400 in wood pallets left in front of the wholesale food distribution business have reportedly been stolen. The owner believes at least 16 pallets, valued of $50 each, have been taken.

A suspicious activity report was filed at 2:28 p.m. on Dec. 26 for insurance purposes.

 

Threatening

Two men suspected of selling illegal merchandise may have taken the concept of motivated salesmanship too far when they began threatening a potential “customer” on Dec. 26 at 5:46 p.m.

According to Fairfield police, a man called the police and complained that two men in The Home Depot  parking lot at 541 King’s Highway Cutoff were threatening to “kick his (rear end).” He suspected the men were selling illegally obtained goods.

The complaining party requested a police escort to his vehicle.

 

Stolen sneakers

A pair of Adidas sneakers valued at $100 were stolen from a Melville Avenue home on Dec. 26, according to Fairfield police.

Windows on two vehicles were pried-out to gain access to the cars. Nothing else of value was missing. The incident was reported at 6:31 p.m.
